How your therapy will progress…
The initial session involves a psychosocial assessment or intake to identify the presenting problem, its onset and frequency of associated symptoms, its impact on relationships, and its effects on your daily activities.
My solution-focused treatment typically involves a short-term duration, spanning up to 15 sessions. After conducting an assessment of the presenting problem and your willingness to address it, I adopt a relational integrative approach to establish an authentic, therapeutic relationship with you
From this foundation, I incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques to explore your core beliefs and how you perceive, interpret, and interact with the world around you.
By identifying both positive and negative core beliefs, we can collectively begin to alter your perception of the world and modify your responses to promote healthier behaviors and reduce negative experiences (such as anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, irritability, and so on).
Additionally, I rely on emotion-focused therapy and narrative psychology to comprehend how you perceive yourself as separate from your experienced problems and daily struggles.
