Limiting beliefs, self-sabotage, self-doubt, and fears is often the catalyst for seeking therapy to understand your current version of you.
Together we identify the counterproductive thought, emotional, and behavioral patterns resulting in difficulty with life transitions, and/or having relational issues, depression and anxiety.
My therapeutic style is integrative with a solution-focused mindset using emotion focused therapy and CBT techniques to identify the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and choices that follow.

How your therapy will progress…
The first session involves a psychosocial assessment or intake to identify presenting problem, onset and frequency of associated symptoms, impact on relationships, and activities of daily living.
My solution-focused treatment is usually short-term (up to 15 sessions). Following an assessment of the presenting problem and your motivation to address the problem, I use a relational integrative approach to establish a therapeutic alliance.
From this, I incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques to examine your core beliefs and how you see and interpret and interact with the world around you.
Through identification of both positive and negative core beliefs, together we can begin to alter your experience of the world around you and change your response to increase healthy behaviors and decrease negative experiences (i.e. anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, irritability, etc).
I also rely on emotion focused therapy and narrative psychology to understand how you are separate from your experienced problem and presenting symptoms.
